Progressive Grounds Free Shoot

FREE!!! I know, it sounds crazy... but it was so much fun! I set up a portable studio at the Progressive Grounds Cafe (on 21st & Bryant in the Mission) and invited some parents and kids to come by and enjoy a free sitting... Each family got roughly 30 minutes of photography. The images will be posted online with a password so that they can view and purchase prints if they like.







It was fun to be at the cafe, because it was a pretty casual environment, and the kids could be bribed with sweets and ice cream ;) There are great windows with natural light just pouring in at the cafe, so I was able to do it all without flashing any strobes (quite helpful with the really little ones..) Plus, the natural light is sooooo beautiful.









These are only a few of the shots we got- there are tons and tons more where they came from. It was a blast... I'm hoping to get to do these on a more regular basis, so if you are interested, please send me an email and I'll put you on my list.

These photos of Natasha were shot in a studio... But I really like the natural feel. As usual it was towards the end of the shoot that we really got into the swing of things. It was really fun, and we got some good stuff!!

Jane & Cameron are big fans of the symphony... I felt pretty silly to admit that after 10 years in this town, I've never been! But we went down to the Civic Center and walked around some of their favorite spots...Now I HAVE to go! Here are a few shots to share...

Rachael and Silas Engagement Photos

I always tell people that engagement sessions ought to be fun. They usually probably think I'm nuts until about 20 minutes into the session when I notice they've started to loosen up a bit... and suddenly, it's as though they've had a camera on them all their lives! Okay, maybe that is an exaggeration, but still...























Rachael and Silas and I did end up having a great time at Golden Gate Park. We made it just in time for the pretty light...
